The Logistics Inventory Record Accuracy (IRA) Liaison is accountable for sustaining high inventory accuracy across Client material handling and production support processes. This role serves as the site subject matter liaison for inventory discrepancies, leading Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA) for hot part requests, mis-picks, and audit failures. The position manages a team of six employees, prioritizes daily execution, tracks IRA performance metrics, and partners with Operations, Planning, and Point of Use (POU) teams to protect production flow and customer commitments.

Typical task breakdown:
Inventory Record Accuracy & Control
- Ensure accurate inventory records across all Material Tracking Systems (MTS), storage locations, kitting areas, supermarkets, and POU.
- Maintain alignment between MTS inventory and MRP inventory, identifying gaps and driving corrective actions.
- Support and lead inventory audits including 750 audits, cycle counts, and targeted accuracy validations.
- Ensure adherence to established Client material control processes and standard work.
Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA)
- Lead RCCA investigations for hot parts requests, identifying systemic drivers impacting production.
- Perform RCCA for mis-picks identified in Verify, ensuring corrective actions prevent recurrence.
- Perform RCCA for mis-picks identified in Operations and at Point of Use (POU).
- Track and drive corrective actions to closure, validating effectiveness and sustainability.
Reporting, Systems & Audit Trails
- Execute and analyze reports to identify discrepancies between MTS and MRP inventory records.
- Run and review audit trail reports from:
- RFID Tracker
- Barcode Tracking System
- LogNet
- Provide accurate data, trend analysis, and status updates to logistics leadership and cross functional partners.
Metrics & Performance Management
- Track and trend key performance indicators including:
- Inventory Record Accuracy (IRA %)
- Results from 750 audits
- Recurring mis-pick and discrepancy drivers
- Use data to identify improvement opportunities and support Continuous Improvement (CI) initiativesS
Leadership & Daily Execution
- Lead and oversee six logistics team members, providing daily direction and work prioritization.
- Balance workloads based on production needs, hot part requests, audit findings, and operational priorities.
- Coach team members on standard work, material accuracy expectations, and problem-solving discipline.
- Support compliance with safety, quality, and Client Values in Action.
Cross Functional Partnership
- Act as the logistics focal point for inventory accuracy with Operations, Scheduling, Planning, and Quality teams.
- Support problem-solving activities that protect throughput, reduce material shortages, and prevent line disruptions.

Education & Experience Required:
- Years of experience: 8-10 years
Required
- Experience in logistics, material handling, inventory control, or supply chain operations in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of inventory accuracy, material audits, and RCCA methodology.
- Experience using Client systems and tools such as MTS, MRP, RFID, barcode tracking, LogNet, or similar systems.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, interpret reports, and communicate findings effectively.
- Experience leading or coordinating work for a team in a shop or logistics environment.
- Degree requirement: HS Grad or GED
