Job Description:
What You Will Do
- Manage, service, and enhance a broad range of systems including Windows, IBM i, Linux, SAN, NAS, network endpoints, backup infrastructure, and hosted or cloud applications
- Collaborate with networking and x86 teams to troubleshoot system connectivity and performance issues
- Respond to incidents, outages, and operational events with urgency and ownership
- Monitor and maintain daily backup operations and recovery readiness
- Develop and execute patching and firmware strategies across multiple platforms
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement tools for system monitoring and performance optimization
- Maintain and continuously improve technical documentation, including runbooks and operational procedures
- Partner with security teams to strengthen system hardening, access control, and overall security posture
- Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution
- Work with third party vendors to implement, upgrade, and troubleshoot systems
- Drive Automation and Innovation
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort through automation
- Contribute to automation initiatives using internal tooling as well as platforms such as Ansible Automation Platform and similar technologies
- Continuously improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability through thoughtful use of technology
- Adopt and Apply Emerging Technologies
- Learn, evaluate, and implement new technologies where they provide measurable value
- Leverage modern tools, including AI assisted solutions, to improve productivity, troubleshooting, and operational workflows

Technical Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technology related field preferred
- Experience supporting systems across physical, virtual, and cloud environments
- Solid understanding of networking concepts with the ability to troubleshoot and communicate issues clearly
- Experience with scripting, automation, and orchestration tools
- Familiarity with SQL and working with data across systems
- Understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity concepts including replication and failover
- Experience with patch management and system lifecycle maintenance
- Working knowledge of firewall administration and network security fundamentals
- Familiarity with virtualization and containerization technologies
- Exposure to IBM i is a plus, but not required
- Exposure to AI tools or automation assisted workflows is a plus
- Basic project management and coordination skills
A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum base salary for this position is $90 K to $110 K per year with Bonus. Employee benefits will also be available, and details are available like Pension/401K/ Paid Vacation/ Life, Medical & Dental insurance etc.
