HR Generalist
Mountain View, CA (Hybrid)
3 Months - Contract
Job Description:
We are looking for a temporary HR Generalist to join our team. The goal of this temporary HR Generalist role is to help the People team, ensuring our onboarding, immigration, and general HR data entry gets processed. You will be part of the People team.
What you will do: Choose 4-5
- Oversee local employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including conducting orientations, partnering with IT on new hire equipment, & preparing digital paperwork through Workday.
- You will support our internship program being a local point of reference and assisting in setting up 2 events for 30 summer interns.
- You will help support problem solving requests coming through Jira tickets to the People team.
- You will help make general employee updates in Workday for employee job changes.
- You will support our internal immigration processes for employee applications and renewals. Working with our external law firm, internal managers, and HRBPs to ensure we are following our internal policy and legally handling all work visas appropriately
- You can easily pivot and transition working between projects and tasks.
Requirements
- You have 5 years of hands-on experience working in a people function as an HRBP or HR Generalist within a company of approximately 600 employees.
- You have a deep and applied knowledge of Workday.
- Bonus points if you have a SHRM or HRCI certification
