Duties
- Deliver comprehensive nursing instruction during nights and weekends. The schedule will be built around your schedule as much as possible.
- Review and follow HACTC Adult Ed approved LNA curriculum to ensure alignment with VT OPR educational standards, regulatory requirements, and current clinical practices.
- Professionally supervise students during clinical rotations in local nursing homes or hospitals.
- Evaluate student performance through documentation review, care plan assessments, and practical examinations; provide constructive feedback to support their growth.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, clinical hours, attendance and compliance documentation in accordance with institutional policies.
- Collaborate with hospital staff and faculty to ensure a collaborative, professional and educationally enriching clinical experience.
Experience
- At least 2 years experience as an LNA instructor.
- Demonstrated experience as an LNA teacher
- Experience working in clinical settings, hospital, nursing home, assisted living.
- Knowledge of the LNA curriculum.
- Experience working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds; ability to adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Strong organizational skills including curriculum design/development and documentation review to ensure educational quality and regulatory adherence.
Pay: From $4,000.00 per month
