What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Estimator position at Harris & Co Executive Search?
Location: Pittsburgh / East Ohio Region (Relocation Considered)
Salary: $165K-$210K Bonus ESOP Full Company vehicle & Gas Card Full personal and family medical Package.
We are working on behalf of a well-established, employee owned heavy civil contractor with a strong backlog and long-standing reputation across site development, excavation, grading, and underground utilities.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Estimator to play a key role in bidding and securing major projects across the region.
The Role
- Lead estimating efforts across site development and Utility Projects
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for earthwork, excavation, grading, and utilities packages
- Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents
- Manage take-offs, subcontractor pricing, and bid submissions
- Work closely with operations, project management, and leadership teams
- Contribute to strategy on high-value bids and long-term pipeline
