Job Overview
As a Counter Server / Front-of-House (FOH) Team Member, you will be the face of our company and the first step in providing quality service and hospitality to our guests. Your responsibilities will include:
- Warmly greeting guests as they enter and leave the restaurant
- Accurately describing dishes and making appropriate recommendations
- Correctly entering orders into our Point-of-Sale system
- Processing payments and serving food or beverages at the counter
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- Providing quick, friendly, and accurate service
- May be requested to run food to guests tables, clear tables and keep all aspects of the dining room area clean.
Qualifications
We are looking for applicants who exhibit the following qualities:
- Prior customer service experience
- A true “people person” providing exceptional and gracious service
- Experience working with a Point-of-Sale system
- Ability to work quickly and independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong multi-tasking skills
- Competency in counting money and processing payments
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently even in stressful situations
