Randolph Packing Company (A Harpley's Company) is seeking a dependable, safety-conscious 1st/2nd Hind Legger to join our beef processing team. This position performs the initial skinning and preparation of the hind leg during harvest operations while maintaining food safety, product quality, and workplace safety.
Responsibilities:
- Skin and prepare the designated hind leg using proper knife techniques.
- Make precise cuts to minimize product damage and prevent contamination.
- Maintain clean, sanitized knives, tools, and work areas.
- Follow established processing procedures and maintain the required production pace.
- Report contamination, equipment problems, and safety concerns immediately.
- Wear required personal protective equipment and follow supervisor instructions.
Qualifications:
- Previous beef processing, hind legging, or knife experience preferred.
- Ability to safely handle knives and processing tools.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive physical work.
- Ability to work around raw meat in a wet production environment.
- Reliable attendance, attention to detail, and strong teamwork skills.
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
