Senior Full Stack Developer
Harnham, the leading recruitment specialist in Data and AI, is currently partnering with a bespoke consultancy servicing a leading client within the advanced hedge fund space. This specialist organization focuses on delivering sophisticated, data-driven technology solutions and works closely with its client to build and enhance critical business applications.
- Role: Senior Full Stack Developer
- Location: Newport Beach, CA
- Pay: $60 -$80 per hour W2 only
- Length: 6 months
- Utilization: 40 hr/week
- Benefits: W2 employees are eligible for health, dental, vision, and 401k benefits.
As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will join the application development team and play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining modern enterprise applications. You will work across both front-end and back-end technologies, building scalable solutions that solve complex business challenges while leveraging AI-powered development tools to accelerate delivery and improve software quality.
This is an opportunity to work within a highly technical, data-focused environment supporting innovative projects for a sophisticated financial services client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React and Angular.
- Build, enhance, and support backend services and REST APIs using C# and .NET.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Drive application modernization initiatives and implement best practices across the software development lifecycle.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Utilize AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, and similar technologies to improve engineering productivity.
Requirements:
- 7 years of full-stack software development experience.
- Strong expertise in C# development.
- Strong experience with .NET development frameworks.
- Advanced knowledge of React.
- Advanced knowledge of Angular.
- Strong JavaScript and TypeScript development experience.
- Experience designing and developing REST APIs.
