Heavy Equipment Mechanic
We are looking for highly qualified Heavy Equipment Mechanics, in Middle Tennessee area. Our excavation company is growing, and we have an opening for a professional Heavy Equipment Mechanic. We aren't looking for a warm body to fill a truck with marginal abilities – you know who you are if this job is right for you. You have a PROVEN track record of dependability, self-motivation, punctuality, professionalism, interpersonal skills and excellent abilities to work on and maintain heavy equipment. Job Requirements:
- Minimum of FIVE years Heavy Equipment Mechanic Experience
- Heavy Equipment CAT ET Experience
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and CDL Class A or B
- Clean Driving Record
- Checking or savings account available for direct deposit
- Ability to efficiently maintain, diagnose and repair heavy equipment
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must have personal smart phone and be proficient with project management technology
- Availability to work some Saturdays
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on heavy equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment for repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of service and repairs, and communicate findings to project management.
- Adhere to safety protocols while operating heavy machinery and working in various environments.
