Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Community Manager/Maintenance professional to oversee the daily operations of a MH community. This role combines property management and maintenance responsibilities, ensuring that our residents enjoy a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of property management principles, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
Duties
- Manage day-to-day operations of the community, including leasing, maintenance, and resident relations.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant law.
- Utilize property management software such as Rent Manager for data entry, filing, and customer relationship management.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure maintenance standards are met.
- Handle minor maintenance repairs and duties.
- Handle resident inquiries and concerns with effective conflict management and negotiation skills.
- Implement sales strategies to promote property leasing and upselling of services.
- Maintain accurate records of contracts, maintenance schedules, and resident communications.
- Foster positive relationships with residents through exceptional customer service.
Requirements
- Proven experience in MH property management.
- Bilingual/English and Spanish - required
- Experience maintenance property management
- Strong understanding of landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations.
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to negotiate effectively.
- Proficiency in administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and office experience.
- Strong customer service orientation with effective phone etiquette.
- Experience in facilities management and property maintenance is highly desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. This position requires a proactive approach to community management and maintenance.
