Front of House Team Member/Barista (all shifts)

```Overview:
Hardy's Bakery is seeking enthusiastic Front of House Team Member/Baristas to join our team. Starting pay is $15.50/hour plus tips. As a Front of House Team Member/Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and crafting delicious coffee and other beverages, as well as helping customers pick out baked goods and other food items. You will also be responsible for serving customers breakfast & lunch in house. Duties include:

-Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages including lattes, cappuccinos, etc

- Take customer orders and accurately input them into our Square POS system, handle cash transactions and provide accurate change to customers

-Serve meals to customers and provide exceptional hospitality while they are dining in house
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the front area
- Maintain knowledge of all menu items, including seasonal offerings
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, addressing any concerns or questions
- Operate coffee brewing equipment and espresso machine
- Follow all food safety and handling procedures to ensure the quality and safety of products
- Daily & weekly cleaning duties to keep the bakery neat, clean and orderly

Required Skills:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic math skills for cash handling and measuring ingredients
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service during busy periods, while also able to work in a fast paced environment and maintain attention to detail
- Ability to assist with food preparation tasks as needed, basic food service
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to learn, be coached and be a team player
