- Act as the technical point of contact for suppliers, addressing manufacturing and quality challenges.
- Conduct design for manufacturing (DFM) reviews and implement production part approval processes (PPAP).
- Collaborate with procurement to source parts aligned with supplier capabilities.
- Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives at suppliers.
- Validate supplier corrective actions and ensure robust implementations.
- Coordinate containment activities with cross-functional teams.
- Drive continuous improvement in the supply base and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a STEM discipline.
- 1 years of manufacturing, supply chain, or quality experience.
- Knowledge of quality systems and processes (ISO 9000/TS/AS9100/NADCAP).
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and production line improvements.
- Strong communication skills for presentations and supplier interactions.
- Ability to make timely, risk-based decisions in ambiguous environments.
- Experience in a fast-paced design environment within relevant industries.
