Mechanical engineering and packaging for lightweight, swappable battery technology.
Planning and executing performance, validation, endurance, and life cycle testing.
Troubleshooting mechanical failures and implementing improved designs.
Leading collaborations with manufacturing partners for high-volume production.
Working with the reliability team to implement best practices for mechanical and electrical design.
Designing test fixtures, creating test plans, and analyzing data.
Collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver complete technical solutions.
8 years of experience in Mechanical Design Engineering.
BS degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Experience with lightweight custom battery development and thermal management.
Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS, Siemens NX, or similar CAD tools.
Experience in DOE’s, performance, and validation testing.
Knowledge of tolerance analysis and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
