Design space hardware production processes and production lines
Manage equipment design, procurement, installation, and qualification
Collaborate with supply chain partners to manage critical vendors
Define material flow planning and manufacturing processes
Support space hardware testing, including tooling design and data analysis
Optimize assembly, integration, and test takt time & cost
Conduct design for manufacturability reviews and sign-offs
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent
4 years of working in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
Experience with prototyping and implementation
3 years of experience developing and building space mechanical assemblies
3 years of implementing metric-based strategies utilizing continuous improvement concepts
1 years of experience planning and driving process development campaigns
Knowledge of SolidWorks simulation or Ansys Finite Element analysis tools preferred
