We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and package orders using appropriate materials, ensuring products are secure for transit
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely to load and unload shipments
- Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements accurately
- Pick, pack, and fulfill customer orders efficiently in an e-commerce setting
- Manage stock levels through regular stocking, inventory checks, and updating MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems like AS400
- Ensure all shipments comply with safety standards and company policies for shipping & receiving procedures
- Assist in maintaining organized warehouse distribution areas for optimal workflow and safety
Qualifications
- Prior warehouse experience with a strong understanding of shipping & receiving processes
- Valid forklift certification; experience operating reach trucks and pallet jacks preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and AS400 or similar ERP systems
- Basic math skills for counting, measurements, and inventory calculations
- Experience with order fulfillment, picking & packing, and order picking techniques in an e-commerce environment
- Ability to load & unload shipments efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and loaders
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting
