Customers remember whether they received a clear answer, especially when plans are changing. This Louisville Customer Service Representative position keeps clients informed, records requests accurately and makes sure the right internal person follows through. It is a service role with fixed hourly pay and no sales quota.

The conversations you will manage

Most contacts involve project timing, meeting details, material requests, basic account information or a request for an update. You will answer what you can from approved information, record what still needs attention and set a realistic expectation for the next response. Customer contact is mainly by phone and email, with occasional in-person coordination when a local meeting is scheduled.

A typical day

• Review new emails and voicemail, then sort requests by urgency.
• Respond to routine questions using current project notes and service guidelines.
• Create clear follow-up tasks for account, event or production teammates.
• Confirm appointments, deliveries or scheduled client touchpoints.
• Update contact records and close completed requests with useful notes.
• Flag recurring questions so the team can improve future communication.

What matters in this position

We are looking for calm communication, accurate typing and dependable attendance. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous customer service, hospitality, reception, retail or office experience is helpful, but candidates with comparable communication experience will be considered. You should be comfortable learning a customer database and using email, calendars and basic spreadsheets.

What this role does not involve

There is no cold calling, door-to-door work or variable sales pay. You will not be expected to promise a deadline you cannot confirm. The priority is useful service, complete notes and timely handoffs. A team lead is available each day for escalations and questions about unusual requests.

Hours and package

• $22–$26 per hour, depending on directly relevant experience.
• Full-time, on-site work in Louisville; Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
• Paid training with call shadowing and written service resources.
