Customer Service Representative

Robert Half is seeking a dynamic Customer Service Representative professional in Indiana! The Customer Service Representative is a crucial role and you will ensure that all inquiries and orders are handled promptly and professionally. This is a contract to permanent opportunity. The hours are Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM onsite.

Key responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative:

• Provides accurate and timely responses to customer inquiries via phone or email
• Processes sales orders
• Works closely with other departments to resolve any order shipment or billing discrepancies
• Maintains detailed order records, tracks inventory, and updates, as well as manages returns and exchanges.
• Utilizes Excel spreadsheets to track and organize data
• Provides online training to customers
• Assists with web editing and data base setup

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative that possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, a customer-centric attitude, and keen attention to detail. You must be comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment and able to problem solve effectively. Basic computer skills, a familiarity with CRM systems and a minimum of one-year experience in a similar role are required. We value team players who can also work independently when needed and consistently meet targets.

• Proficient in answering inbound calls with professionalism and courtesy

• Experience in a call center customer service environment

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on delivering high-quality service

• Accurate data entry skills, with attention to detail

• Ability to handle email correspondence with clients effectively

• Experience in managing both inbound and outbound calls

• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and ability to perform basic functions

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word for documentation and correspondence

• Experience in order entry, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
