Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Recreation Assistant to join our interdisciplinary team at Harbor Village Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. As a Recreation Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing recreational activities and programs to our residents, promoting their physical, mental, and emotional well-being. This is a PartTime position that offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Responsibilities:
Plan and implement recreational programs and activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents
Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans that incorporate recreational activities
Provide assistance with daily living activities, such as toileting, ambulation, and transfers, as needed
Maintain a clean and organized recreation department, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for residents
Establish and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and staff members
