Position Overview
The Technical Transfer (MSAT) Engineer supports the successful transfer, scale-up, and lifecycle management of commercial manufacturing processes in a cGMP environment. This role partners closely with Operations, Validation, Quality, and external customers to ensure on-the-floor manufacturing processes are robust, well-documented, and capable of reliable commercial execution.
Responsibilities
- Provide real-time troubleshooting and operational support for aseptic manufacturing processes including formulation, filtration, filling, prep, and autoclave operations.
- Lead and execute technical transfer activities, utilizing client-provided data into full-scale GMP manufacturing.
- Support smooth tech transfer activities through hands-on execution and real-time engineering support of drug product fill/finish operations within the cleanroom manufacturing environment.
- Partner cross-functionally with Manufacturing, QA, MS&T, and Engineering teams to drive process improvements, support investigations, and maintain production continuity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other applicable scientific field.
- 2–3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on engineering experience supporting drug product fill/finish operations within aseptic cleanroom manufacturing environments.
Salary : $85,000 - $95,000
