What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Officer position at Happy Valley Casino?
REPORTS TO: Security Shift Supervisor
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent required
EXPERIENCE: Previous security experience preferred. Valid driver’s license required. State Security Guard License preferred.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to be approved and maintain licensure by Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board. Must be able to work any shift as needed, as well as be on-call for emergencies.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain a constant vigilance to ensure the safety of patrons and employees and company property.
- Responsible for maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Enforces and adheres to company policy and procedure.
- Responsible for enforcing security procedures at all assigned posts.
- Promotes outstanding interdepartmental and customer relations.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Other:
- Able to lift and carry 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Able to stand and walk 6-8 hours.
