Wednesdays through Fridays 3pm-11pm
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Security Guard to join our team and protect our warehouse facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the premises, personnel, and inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor premises through regular patrols, surveillance cameras, and access control systems.
- Inspect building, equipment, and access points to ensure security and identify potential safety hazards.
- Check in/out all incoming and outgoing trucks, employees, and visitors.
- Write detailed incident and daily activity reports.
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances or suspicious activity.
- Enforce company policies and site-specific security protocols.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid security guard license/certification (if required by state).
- Proven experience in security or a related field preferred.
- Ability to stay alert and remain calm in stressful situations.
- Strong observational, communication, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
