Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service with a positive attitude.
- Educate customers on different strains, products, consumption methods, and effects to help them make informed choices.
- Conduct product demos and explain features to enhance customer understanding and satisfaction.
- Assist with merchandising, stocking shelves, and maintaining an organized store layout to ensure an inviting shopping environment.
- Process sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems while handling cash and credit payments responsibly.
- Upsell relevant products by identifying customer needs and recommending complementary items to maximize sales.
- Maintain compliance with all state regulations regarding cannabis sales and inventory control.
Skills
- Proven experience with POS systems and cash handling in a retail setting.
- Supervising experience or leadership skills are a plus for team collaboration.
- Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions, inventory counts, and sales reporting.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette for customer inquiries.
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
