Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Tow Truck Dispatcher Supervisor to lead and support our dispatch team in a fast-paced towing and recovery operation. This role is critical to ensuring efficient dispatch operations, excellent customer service, and smooth communication between drivers, dispatchers, law enforcement, and customers.
The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, organized, leadership-driven, and experienced in towing dispatch.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and support a team of tow truck dispatchers
- Ensure accurate and timely dispatch of tow trucks and service vehicles
- Manage call flow, prioritize jobs, and resolve escalated issues
- Coordinate with drivers, law enforcement, DOT, and customers
- Monitor dispatcher performance and enforce company policies and procedures
- Assist with scheduling, coverage, and shift coordination
- Maintain accurate records, logs, and documentation
- Provide leadership during high-stress or emergency situations
- Support management with reporting, training, and operational improvements
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of dispatcher experience, preferably in towing
- Supervisory or lead experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication, multitasking, and decision-making skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Knowledge of towing operations, rotation requirements, and service areas is a plus
- Reliable attendance and flexibility with scheduling
Compensation will be based on the right candidate's experience level.
