Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Dispatcher to join our team. This role requires strong communication skills, common sense, the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, and the ability to solve problems efficiently and effectively. We have 2 positions available. Must be able to pass a background check.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and dispatch tow trucks to customer locations promptly
- Monitor driver locations using GPS and coordinate efficient routes
- Communicate with drivers throughout their shifts to ensure timely service
- Communicate with customers to ensure satisfactory customer service.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, dispatch times, and customer information
- Handle emergency or high-stress situations calmly and effectively
- Provide excellent customer service and support
- Collaborate with management and other team members for daily operations
Experience
- Prior experience in dispatching or towing (preferred, but willing to train the right person)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Familiarity with dispatching software and GPS tracking systems (a plus)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be reliable and punctual
Shifts Available
- Weekend shift Saturday and Sunday 10am-10pm
- Nightshift Monday through Friday 7pm to 1am
Training will be Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
