Adventist Health Columbia Gorge is seeking an experienced CNA for a 13-week acute care contract assignment. Med-Surg experience is required.
Requirements
- Current Oregon CNA license
- Current BLS certification
- Previous acute care/Med-Surg experience required
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, feeding, hydration, elimination, positioning, and personal care.
- Obtain and document vital signs, including pulse and blood pressure.
- Provide patient support and report verbal/non-verbal observations and vital signs to the licensed nurse.
- Assist with restorative care and other patient-care needs within scope of practice.
- Perform clerical and organizational duties to support smooth unit operations.
- Route patient reports appropriately and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
