Handled Now is hiring Class A CDL regional drivers in Forney, Texas, operating a sleeper unit and dry van trailer delivering passenger and commercial tires to retail locations across the region. Tires are manually unloaded, moved to the end of the trailer, and safely lowered to the ground. Drivers are not required to stock, store, or put away product for the customer, and all deliveries are counted and verified with the customer before departure.
Job Details
● Pay: $1,650 weekly average, based on $0.59 per mile plus $17.93 per stop
● Schedule: Monday through Friday, some routes return on Saturday
● Start time: Varies, typically between 5 AM and 7 AM
● Route: Regional, out up to 4 nights per week
● Delivery states: Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado, New Mexico, Wyoming, Georgia, and Mississippi
● Tractor: Sleeper
● Trailer: 53' dry van with swing doors
● Freight: Heavy touch, passenger and commercial tires, manually unloaded
● License requirement: Automatic transmission restriction accepted, no manual experience required
● Elogs: Required, must be compliant with electronic logging device use
What It Takes to Drive With Handled Now
● Minimum 21 years of age
● Current Class A CDL from your state of residence
● Minimum one year of relevant Class A commercial driving experience
● Comfortable with heavy touch freight and manual unloading
● Acceptable references from past employers
● Meet all applicable DOT qualifications
Dress Code & Safety Gear
Pants and an appropriate work shirt or shirt with sleeves. All clothing should be clean, in good condition, and suitable for a warehouse/industrial work environment. Clothing displaying offensive, inappropriate, discriminatory, or unsafe language, graphics, or imagery is not permitted.
Footwear: steel-toe or composite-toe safety boots with fully enclosed toes and ankle coverage. Boots must be lace-up style.
