What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Manager position at Hand Picked Selections?
We are a historic wine importer with over 40 years of history, now under new ownership and entering an exciting new phase of growth.
We’re looking for a hands-on Marketing Manager to elevate our presence across the wine and spirits industry. This is a highly collaborative, relationship-driven role focused on storytelling, engagement, and supporting growth across our portfolio.
Unlike consumer lifestyle brands focused on mass audiences, we are a B2B company. Our goal is not simply to reach more people — it’s to meaningfully engage the right people: distributors, retailers, restaurants, industry professionals, media, suppliers, press and trade partners.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Helping shape the company’s voice and image
- Content creation
- Lead and execute social media strategy across Instagram, FB, TicToc, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other relevant platforms
- Actively engage with media, trade partners, customers, influencers, suppliers, sales persons and industry professionals online
- Manage and grow our YouTube presence through interviews, educational, and brand-focused content
- Maintain and update website content, sales materials, presentations, and marketing collateral. Bring a fresh new look to these
- Collaborate closely with sales leadership to ensure marketing efforts directly support business activities
- Create email and text marketing campaigns.
Qualifications
- Works well collaboratively and independently
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage numerous projects at once
- Experience in graphic design and familiarity with Canva, Indesign, Photoshop and illustrator
- Interest in food, wine and hospitality
- Experience with AI platforms to improve productivity and quality of work
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Has a commitment to customer service and exceeding expectations
- Experience managing social media and digital content across all major platforms
