We are looking for an experienced Sushi Chef who possesses a strong commitment to customer service. The position requires regularly preparing Japanese dishes, including sushi and rice dishes, in a manner that ensures customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a passion for preparing food, an excellent understanding of food preparation, and the ability to follow recipes precisely.
Responsibilities:
- Quickly and safely cut fish using a knife.
- Prepare all of our menu items efficiently and accurately, with great presentation
- Be able to explain dishes to customers.
- Interpret customer needs and requests.
- Be familiar with the ingredients of each dish.
- Be familiar with the types of sushi and other food items served at the restaurant.
