Job Title: Hotel Chief Engineer
Job Summary:
We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Chief Engineer to lead our maintenance team. The Chief Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our facilities, managing a team of maintenance staff, and ensuring that all maintenance operations are carried out efficiently and effectively.
Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of the property's facilities, identify needs and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Assign tasks and room PMs and ensure completion to company satisfaction.
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures and schedules to optimize efficiency.
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment.
- Address maintenance-related issues promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with other departments to support ongoing projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in maintenance.
- Well versed in all aspects of maintenance including plumbing, HVAC, electric, drywall, painting, etc. Must have certifications in several facets related to hotel maintenance.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team.
- Ability to use all tools needed to complete the tasks assigned.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in supervising maintenance operations is a plus.
