Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of hotel facilities to identify maintenance needs and prevent issues before they arise
- Perform repairs and troubleshooting on electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC units, and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals
- Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to manage building automation systems efficiently
- Carry out welding tasks, residential painting, and other handyman duties to uphold the hotel’s aesthetic and functional standards
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and schedule preventive maintenance
- Supervise external contractors or junior maintenance staff during projects or repairs as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, building codes, and environmental regulations during all maintenance activities
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities or building maintenance within the hospitality or manufacturing sectors
- Strong electrical experience complemented by knowledge of schematics and the use of tools like ohmmeters for diagnostics
- Mechanical knowledge with hands-on skills in welding, plumbing, HVAC systems, and residential painting
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and electrical diagrams accurately
- Supervising experience in a maintenance or facilities environment is preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear reporting and coordination with team members and vendors
- Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and maintenance tracking
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to supervise teams or contractors effectively
