This is a position where you work 7 nights on and 7 nights off starting on Wednesdays.
Overview
We are seeking a professional, organized, and customer-focused Night Auditor / Front Desk Agent to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring smooth overnight hotel operations, providing exceptional guest service, and managing administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with computers, possess strong organizational skills, and demonstrate excellent communication abilities.
Duties
- Greet and check in guests promptly and professionally, creating a welcoming environment
- Process reservations, payments, and check-outs accurately
- Run nightly audit reports, balance accounts, and maintain financial records
- Manage multi-line phone systems, handle inquiries, and direct calls efficiently
- Perform data entry, filing, and maintain organized records using hotel software and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
- Assist with billing, bookkeeping, and basic administrative tasks
- Provide customer support via phone, email, or in person, ensuring high levels of satisfaction
- Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity before distribution
- Support administrative functions such as typing correspondence, managing office supplies, and maintaining cleanliness of the front desk area
- Monitor hotel security and respond to guest needs during overnight hours
Qualifications
- Familiarity with computers and ability to learn hotel software systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace tools
- Strong computer literacy with experience in data entry and document management
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- Bilingual abilities preferred to assist diverse guest needs
- Previous hotel, customer service, or reception experience strongly preferred
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
