Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the housekeeping team to ensure all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, procedures, and quality control measures aligned with industry best practices.
- Oversee daily cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, laundry, bathroom sanitation, and floor care across all guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment maintenance, and procurement to ensure operational efficiency.
- Train new staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service expectations.
- Conduct regular inspections to monitor cleanliness standards, identify areas for improvement, and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies that enhance guest satisfaction through impeccable cleanliness and service delivery.
Experience
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or a similar hospitality environment with a strong background in janitorial or custodial roles.
- Extensive knowledge of cleaning techniques including industrial cleaning methods and floor care procedures.
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards, safety regulations, and OSHA guidelines related to industrial cleaning.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, manage schedules, and handle operational challenges effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness records and inventory management.
