Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and private residences, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Care for floors by sweeping, polishing, and applying appropriate cleaning techniques to maintain their pristine condition.
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing with attention to detail.
- Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms by disinfecting fixtures, replenishing supplies, and ensuring all areas meet health standards.
- Assist with light maintenance tasks or report repairs needed to ensure the property remains in excellent condition.
- Support hospitality operations by managing janitorial supplies inventory and ensuring all cleaning equipment is properly maintained.
- Uphold safety protocols and adhere to health regulations while performing all cleaning and custodial duties.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services; hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including polishing, buffing, and deep cleaning methods.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies used in large-scale or commercial settings.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus but not required.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines rigorously and maintain a high standard of cleanliness at all times.
