Shifts: Day
Open Interviews: Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9AM to 4PM at 1245 Fairview Drive Lexington, NC 27292 until position filled
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Complete preventative maintenance for all guest rooms and public spaces according to the outlined timetable/schedule.
· Respond to maintenance requests made by both the guests of the hotel and fellow hotel team members when necessary.
· Inspect of the hotel's systems, guest room and grounds upkeep, adherence to brand standards.
· Landscaping and outside duties as requested.
· Maintain inventory and condition of tools and materials that are provided.
· Interact professionally and politely with guests and coworkers.
· Ability to work on your own while staying on task and completing required work
· Willingness to perform any tasks that are required by the hotel General Manager
Requirements:
· The ideal candidate should have some experience with general maintenance in one or more of the following categories: HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Mechanical, Paint/Wallpaper and Pool maintenance.
· United States work authorization is required
- High school or higher education preferred
- No criminal background and no drug use
- Must be able to provide references
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Perform other duties as required.
This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 75 lbs. Standing, sitting or walking for extended periods of time and ensuring a professional demeanor, clear communication and appearance in a clean uniform are also required.
