Open Interviews: Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9AM to 4PM at 1245 Fairview Dr Lexington, NC 27292 until position filled
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet arriving guests and complete established check-in procedures.
- Ensure guests receive prompt, professional attention and personal recognition.
- Respond appropriately to guest complaints. Implement appropriate service recovery gestures in order to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Regularly calculate and/or posts money, receipts, guest accounts, and other forms of credit using accurate, proper cash and credit card handling methods.
- Keep guest information private and ensure that only the correct individuals are given access to rooms.
- Basic mathematical skills and considerable skill in the use of a calculator to prepare moderately complex mathematical calculations without error.
- Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
- Ability to observe and react in emergency situations.
- Ability to perform any tasks required by the hotel General Manager
Requirements:
- Prior experience preferred but not required
- United States work authorization is required
- High school or higher education preferred
- No criminal background and no drug use
- Must be able to provide references
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Perform other duties as required.
This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs. Standing, sitting or walking for extended periods of time and ensuring a professional demeanor, clear communication and appearance in a clean uniform are also required.
