What are the responsibilities and job description for the Breakfast Host/ Attendant position at Hampton Inn Lexington?
Hours: Part Time
Days: All
Shifts: Morning
Open Interviews: Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9AM to 4PM at 1245 Fairview Drive Lexington, NC 27292 until position filled
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to all hotel guests, making their stay as comfortable and accommodating as possible while achieving team and brand goals.
- Performs a variety of duties, such as preparing hot and cold breakfast foods and drinks.
- Measure, log, and gauge temperatures on all food items, refrigerators and freezers.
- Cleans and maintains kitchen, equipment, utensils, service and eating areas.
- Order supplies, control inventory items, organize and keep records.
- Maintains brand standards and health requirements.
- Close out shift by cleaning and restocking supplies for next day or shift.
- Perform all shift checklist responsibilities.
- Positive attitude and team player
- Ability to interact with guests in a professional and polite manor
- Ability to perform all tasks required by the hotel General Manager
Requirements:
- Prior experience preferred but not required
- United States work authorization is required
- High school or higher education preferred
- No criminal background and no drug use
- Must be able to provide references
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Perform other duties as required.
This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs. Standing, sitting or walking for extended periods of time and ensuring a professional demeanor, clear communication and appearance in a clean uniform are also required.
