Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities to maintain impeccable cleanliness standards across all guest areas and public spaces
- Will be required to do guest rooms if needed.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to ensure consistent quality and adherence to safety protocols
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms, corridors, and common areas to verify cleanliness and address any deficiencies promptly
- Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment, ensuring efficient usage and timely replenishment
- Implement and monitor floor care procedures to preserve the longevity and appearance of flooring surfaces
- Enforce health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment operation
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to coordinate cleaning schedules and special requests for VIP or group bookings
- Assist Operations in linen inventory, organization of all storage space as well as laundry.
Experience
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial supervision within the hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, including industrial cleaning methods and floor care procedures
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with janitorial equipment, cleaning chemicals, and safety standards applicable to hospitality settings
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and quality assurance
- Prior experience with hotel operations or hospitality management is highly desirable
