About the Position
We are looking for a dependable, friendly, and computer-confident individual to join our hotel team as a Part-Time Front Desk Agent / Night Auditor.
This position is responsible for assisting guests, handling front desk operations, and completing the hotel’s nightly accounting and reporting procedures. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, stays calm when unexpected situations arise, and understands that great hospitality does not stop when the sun goes down.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service
- Complete guest check-ins and check-outs
- Answer phone calls and assist with reservations and guest questions
- Process payments and maintain accurate guest accounts
- Respond to guest concerns and help resolve issues
- Complete nightly audit procedures, reports, and system updates
- Balance transactions and verify daily hotel activity
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure front desk area
- Communicate important information to management and incoming shifts
- Follow hotel safety, security, and privacy procedures
- Perform other front desk duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Strong computer competency is required
- Ability to learn hotel systems and complete detailed reports
- Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Comfortable handling money and processing payments
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-focused
- Previous hotel, front desk, or customer-service experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
