Duties
- Operate commercial laundry equipment to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and guest clothing with precision and care
- Sort laundry items by type, color, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results
- Perform dry cleaning processes for delicate or special fabric items following established procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas and ensure all equipment is functioning properly and safely
- Assist with inventory management by tracking linen supplies and notifying management of stock levels
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and machinery
- Support housekeeping staff by providing freshly laundered linens promptly to meet guest needs
Requirements
- Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is highly preferred
- Knowledge of laundry techniques, including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning processes
- Strong attention to detail to ensure all linens are spotless and well-maintained
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks efficiently
