Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning duties across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain impeccable standards.
- Conduct detailed floor care, including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet maintenance to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal.
- Assist with janitorial tasks such as waste removal, replenishing supplies, and deep cleaning projects to support overall cleanliness.
- Support housekeeping management by organizing linen supplies, restocking amenities, and ensuring equipment is well-maintained.
- Handle industrial cleaning tasks when necessary, utilizing specialized equipment for large-scale or heavy-duty cleaning projects.
- Maintain a high level of hospitality by responding promptly to staff requests and ensuring all areas are guest-ready at all times.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities to promote a safe environment for colleagues and guests alike.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within hospitality or industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including polishing, stripping, waxing, and carpet extraction.
- Previous hotel experience is highly desirable to understand guest service standards and operational procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with hospitality industry practices and standards for cleanliness and maintenance.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively while adhering to health and safety regulations.
