Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Breakfast Attendant to join our hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve breakfast items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and serving stations
- Restock food and beverage items as needed to ensure availability for guests
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing, plating, and portioning
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for guest transactions
- Busing tables and clearing dishes promptly to maintain a tidy dining environment
- Ensure food safety standards are followed during all food handling and preparation activities
- Provide exceptional guest service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and addressing special dietary needs
- Support catering or banquet setups when required
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation
Experience
Candidates with prior experience in food service, hospitality, or related roles are preferred. Relevant skills include:
- Kitchen experience and food preparation skills
- Food safety knowledge and proper handling techniques
- POS system proficiency (Aloha POS, Micros POS) or cashiering experience
- Customer service excellence in restaurant, hotel, or catering environments
- Experience with meal preparation, buffet setup, or banquet service is advantageous
- Strong communication skills and phone etiquette for guest interactions
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
