Job Summary:
Hamilton Health Center, a mission-driven Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to communities in Millersburg and Newport, Pennsylvania.
This is a full-spectrum outpatient primary care opportunity, serving patients across the lifespan—from pediatrics to geriatrics. Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive primary care services, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care
Perform full physical examinations and annual health assessments
Conduct basic gynecologic exams as part of routine care for adult female patients
Diagnose and manage medical conditions, coordinating care as needed
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the EMR system
Collaborate with behavioral health, care management, and support staff to deliver integrated care
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer review, and case management discussions
Contribute to on-call coverage per provider schedule
Attend staff meetings, trainings, and required in-service sessions
Provide supervision to Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, as applicable
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and organizational standards
Qualifications
Required
MD or DO from an accredited institution
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
Active Pennsylvania medical license (or ability to obtain)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with EMR systems
Preferred
Experience in an FQHC or underserved population setting
Knowledge of HRSA and Joint Commission standards
Bilingual (Spanish, Nepali, French, or Arabic)
Prior leadership or supervisory experience
