Clinical Care & Patient Management
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning
- Provide preventive, restorative, and basic surgical procedures within scope
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
- Educate patients on oral health, treatment plans, and preventive care
- Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and care team members
- Refer patients to specialists as appropriate
- Support continuity of care across departments
- Adhere to infection control standards (ADA, OSHA, CDC guidelines)
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited program
- Current or eligible Pennsylvania dental license
- Active DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
- CPR certification
- Eligible for credentialing and participation with payer programs
- FTCA eligibility
- Experience in a community health or FQHC setting
- Experience serving diverse and underserved populations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
