We're seeking a Manager, eCommerce Platforms to lead the strategy, development, and optimization of our global eCommerce ecosystem. This role blends hands-on technical leadership with strategic oversight to ensure secure, scalable, and high-performing platforms that drive growth and enhance the customer experience.
What You'll Do:
- Lead the design the execution of a modern eCommerce platform strategy aligned with company growth goals.
- Oversee platform architecture, integrations, and performance to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable solutions.
- Drive innovation through headless commerce, APIs, microservices, and cloud-based infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Partner with IT, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to align technology capabilities with business objectives.
- Manage vendors, budgets, and technical roadmaps, to optimize value and performance.
- Mentor a cross-functional team, fostering collaboration and agile delivery.
- Monitor KPIs and leverage data insights to enhance platform stability, conversion, and ROI.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- 7 years in eCommerce technology or platform leadership, including 3 years leading teams.
- Experience with enterprise commerce platforms (Shopify Plus, Magento, BigCommerce, Sales Commerce Cloud).
- Strong background in API-driven development, CI/CD, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and Agile.
- Proven ability to integrate ERP, CRM, analytics, and marketing automation systems.
- Cloud or Agile certifications and/or an MBA a plus.
- Experience in consumer goods, retail or DTC environments preferred.
