We are seeking a Project Manager II to support large-scale network deployment activities by coordinating field resources, tracking production progress, managing vendor performance, and ensuring delivery standards are consistently achieved. This role will act as a key operational link between internal stakeholders and external vendor teams, driving efficient execution across multiple sites while maintaining visibility of project progress, quality, and completion milestones.
Key Responsibilities
Workforce Coordination & Scheduling
- Manage daily workforce allocation and scheduling activities for approximately 150 field splicers across multiple vendors and locations.
- Ensure crews are deployed efficiently based on project priorities, site readiness, and operational requirements.
- Coordinate site access, logistics, and scheduling dependencies to support effective delivery of build activities.
Production Tracking & Reporting
- Own daily production tracking and reporting, including splice volumes, completion rates, and progress against project milestones.
- Maintain accurate operational reports to provide leadership with clear visibility into delivery performance.
- Monitor production trends, identify risks or delays, and escalate issues proactively to support timely resolution.
Quality Assurance & Issue Management
- Conduct on-site inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with project requirements and quality standards.
- Identify, document, and manage defects, deficiencies, and non-conformances through to resolution.
- Work closely with vendor teams to implement corrective actions and maintain consistent delivery quality.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary operational point of contact for vendor representatives and field teams.
- Lead daily coordination meetings, track actions, and ensure alignment between project requirements and vendor execution.
- Escalate blockers, risks, and delivery challenges while supporting effective resolution across stakeholders.
Administrative & Financial Support
- Validate vendor billing submissions against completed and inspected works.
- Maintain accurate project records, documentation, and completion evidence.
- Support project closeout activities by ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately and on time.
Key Skills & Experience
- Experience in workforce coordination, field operations, telecommunications, construction delivery, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience coordinating vendors, contractors, and external delivery teams.
- Strong reporting, documentation, and data tracking skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to identify operational challenges, drive issue resolution, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Experience working within structured project delivery environments with defined quality and performance standards.
