Responsibilities
- Operate Vermeer and Ditch Witch HDD drilling equipment
- Complete pilot bores, reaming and pullbacks
- Install HDPE conduit and underground utilities
- Review utility locates and bore plans
- Monitor drilling fluids throughout projects
- Troubleshoot changing ground conditions
- Inspect and maintain drilling equipment
- Complete production reports
- Maintain safe, clean job sites
- Follow all company safety procedures
Required Skills
- HDD drilling experience
- Experience operating Vermeer or Ditch Witch rigs
- Ability to read utility maps and construction drawings
- Knowledge of bore planning and drilling fluids
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Safety-focused mindset
- Valid driver's license
