We are hiring an HDD Drill Locator based in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Join a growing underground utility contractor supporting large-scale fiber optic infrastructure projects. We're looking for an experienced HDD Locator who can confidently guide bores, avoid underground utilities, and work alongside skilled drilling crews using modern locating technology.
Responsibilities
- Locate HDD drill heads using DigiTrak and Subsite
- Provide steering guidance to Drill Operators
- Read utility maps and construction drawings
- Identify underground utility conflicts
- Record bore and production information
- Coordinate with Operators and Foremen
- Communicate with inspectors and utility representatives
- Maintain OSHA-compliant job sites
- Promote safe work practices
Required Skills
- HDD locating experience
- Fiber optic or underground utility construction experience
- Strong understanding of bore planning
- Experience with DigiTrak, Subsite or equivalent locating systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Valid driver's license
