What You’ll Do
- Investigate and correct failures within physical and optical network layers.
- Lead resolution of escalated network events from detection to recovery.
- Coordinate restoration activities with remote and on-site technical teams.
- Act as a responder for major service-impacting incidents.
- Analyze alerts and alarms to prevent recurring outages.
- Maintain clear records of actions taken during incidents.
- Improve operational tooling, monitoring coverage, and response workflows.
What You Bring
- Experience supporting large-scale transport or optical networks.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in live production environments.
- Working knowledge of network monitoring and ticket management tools.
- Ability to communicate clearly during high-impact incidents.
- Self-directed approach with strong ownership and accountability.
Background
- Several years of experience in network operations or infrastructure support, DWDM, Optical Networks.
- Formal education in a technical field or equivalent hands-on experience.
