What are the responsibilities and job description for the Member Services Representative position at HAMASPIK CHOICE INC?
The role of the Member Service Representative provides support and service to members of the Medicare Advantage Plan, by answering questions, resolving issues and educating callers in an accurate, respectful and timely manner.
Essential Responsibilities:
· Deliver high-quality customer service, listening to members’ requests and working to find the appropriate solution by either transferring members to the appropriate departments or assist them themselves.
·Resolve complaints and concerns by interacting with internal resources to identify the issues, respond to concerns and follow up with a satisfactory resolution in a timely and effective manner.
·Responsible for providing ongoing education and information to members in regards to the Plans benefits, policies and procedures.
· Be aware of all the Plans services and processes to provide accurate information
· Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Active listening skills to accurately respond to inquiries and requests
· Must be detail oriented and well organized
Required Education, Experience, and Licenses:
· High School Diploma
· 2 customer service experience
· Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred
