What are the responsibilities and job description for the Training Specialist position at HAMASPIK CHOICE INC?
Responsibilities:
· Design and deliver training programs for staff across multiple departments, with a focus on both in-person and virtual formats.
· Develop instructional materials, including e-learning modules, job aids, and workshops, tailored to the specific needs of each department.
· Coordinate and set up training sessions, ensuring all logistics, materials, and resources are in place.
· Track attendance and maintain accurate records of training participation and completion.
· Help roll out learning seminars across multiple departments and facilitate all training sessions.
· Facilitate all Onboarding (New-Hire) trainings and serve as the trainer to conduct the week-long training. Be expected to travel to both the Spring Valley and the Brooklyn office.
· Track the New-hire trainees' progress, conduct a 30/60/90-day follow-up with the trainees and their direct report to receive feedback on their on-boarding experience, and identify opportunities for improvement.
· Handle administrative tasks, such as managing sign-in sheets, distributing materials, and coordinating with office management.
· Assess training effectiveness through feedback, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
· Ensure all training content aligns with regulatory requirements and company policies.
· Manage the learning management system (LMS) and track employee progress and certification.
Qualifications/Skills
· Strong background in healthcare, preferably with hands-on experience in a managed care or healthcare setting.
· Proven experience in instructional design; familiarity with adult learning principles is a plus.
· Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate) and/or learning management systems (LMS) preferred.
· Strong communication skills to support interdepartmental collaboration, written correspondence, meetings, and issue resolution; contributes to training material development and facilitates training.
· Strong project management and organizational abilities to oversee multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
